Im 21 and deeply in love with my boyfriend but my friends find our relationship nasty and weird any advice?

Sounds pretty good to me. But what else can you tell us? Are you having sex? Do you want to get married? Have children? Has he been married before? How many times? Does he have any children from other marriages? How old are they? Have you met them? If you were to marry him what would you do while he is at work? Would you go to school, work? get pregnant? whaat? There may well be good answers to all these questinos. As for your friends, consider that if you and he get married, what is likely to happen to your friends? In my experience, marriages of that sort (where the guy is 20 plus years older than the girl–and I know of three which are very successful) the girl winds up dropping most of her contemporary friends and becomes involved in her new husband’s social group. This presents, sometimes, a problem for the new social group becasue the wives of his friends suddenly becoem afraid that their hubbys might think of trading them in for a younger model. If t hey feel secure in their marraiges, no problem. But then not that many marriages are really secure. Having said all that, I have three good friends who have successfully had similar marriages. Both partners are very happy. And the social circle in which they move is the circle of the husband and his friends who are, generally, 20 years older than the new wife. But it certainly can work.
